as part of the cubesat satellite project, i contributed to integrating the onboard computer system by managing multiple subsystems through effective microprocessor configurations. i researched fprime and i2c protocols to improve data transmission reliability across subsystems. i designed communication logic for the raspberry pi and comms module microchip over i2c, reducing wiring complexity. additionally, i developed c++ components for fprime, integrating functionalities and processing over 100 test messages during validation to ensure system reliability.
