as a react native developer, i focus on creating cross-platform applications with scalable and user-friendly interfaces. i collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement features and ensure timely delivery within agile sprints. my work involves optimizing app performance through efficient typescript and css, while also improving code readability and maintainability. i design ui/ux prototypes in figma to enhance user engagement and create intuitive experiences. additionally, i develop and manage backend systems, including databases and schema design, ensuring seamless integration with the frontend for a cohesive and reliable application.

i designed and implemented the majority of features for the game jam page on the qgdc website, utilizing react.js, css, and node.js, and translating figma designs into fully functional code. i developed the projects section, incorporating dropdown menus and detailed information on previous winners. in addition, i overhauled the entire website to improve its modernity, responsiveness, and usability across various screen sizes. this included updating graphics and refining the ui to ensure a clean, efficient design that enhances the user experience while maintaining fast load times. i also optimized key components such as headers, footers, and navigation to ensure smooth and intuitive user interactions.

as part of the cubesat satellite project, i contributed to integrating the onboard computer system by managing multiple subsystems through effective microprocessor configurations. i researched fprime and i2c protocols to improve data transmission reliability across subsystems. i designed communication logic for the raspberry pi and comms module microchip over i2c, reducing wiring complexity. additionally, i developed c++ components for fprime, integrating functionalities and processing over 100 test messages during validation to ensure system reliability.

i provided one-on-one tutoring to students over several months, focusing on subjects like mhf4u and esldo. i conducted weekly sessions, helping students achieve consistent grade improvements. my approach involved mentoring students effectively to ensure sustained progress and retention. i simplified complex concepts into clear, actionable steps, empowering students to tackle advanced problems with confidence.
